HANDS-ON TECH ADVENTURE: Your child will learn to code & build exciting projects like video games with joysticks & RC Cars, using actual Arduinos and Raspberry Pis. They take home their projects!

  • What is LearnToBot?
    LearnToBot is a unique Robotics and Coding class that offers kids of ages 7-14 in Houston, TX. We use Arduino based microcontrollers and sensors to build different projects that kids build themselves and also write the code for. Our goal is to enable every child to become a CREATOR. In our classes, kids learn to build useful practical projects and then write code for them. Kids gain confidence, logic, resourcefulness, and problem solving skills that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
  • Who is the founder of LearnToBot?
    LearnToBot is founded by Neil Dey. Neil has BS & MS in Computer Engineering, has spent the last 15 years designing servers and Supercomputers in companies Dell, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, and Intel. Neil is also an inventor with 8 US & International patents in the area of Computer Design. Neil has combined his passion for technology, and the industry experience to bring a unique Robotics based learning experience to the kids.
  • What age group are your Robotics and Coding classes for?
    Our classes are designed for kids aged 6 & up.
  • What type of projects do the kids do?

  • Do kids need any previous coding or robotics experience to join your classes?
    No, our classes are designed for beginners and no prior experience is required.
  • Which coding languages do you teach?
    We teach a variety of coding languages including Scratch, C, & Python.
  • What is the class size?
    Our class size is limited to 8-10 students to ensure that each child receives individual attention from the instructor. The instructor to student ratio is limited to 1:5.
  • What is the duration of your classes?
    Each child will attend one hour class every week for a total of 4 classes a month.
  • What is the schedule for your classes?
    We currently have classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. The most up to date calendar can be seen at https://www.learntobot.com/class-calendar.
  • Can the kids take all the robotic kits home?
    Yes, the kids take all the equipment to their home after the class. Every week they get new sensors and hardware that they learn to program and use. All of the equipment is included in the class fees.
  • What is our refund policy for Camps?
    If you have registered for a Camp and cannot make it for any reason. You have several options: You can reschedule to any equivalent (i.e. 3 or 5 day) camp session we have, pending availability, as listed in www.learntobot.com/camp. There will be no extra charge. If you cannot make it to an alternate camp time, you can redeem your credit in the following ways: If you registered for a 3 day camp, you can come for 6 (six) one hour individual weekly classes as per our class calendar (https://www.learntobot.com/class-calendar). Currently we have classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. If you had signed up for a 5-day camp, you can come for 8 (eight) one hour individual weekly classes as per our class calendar during our weekly classes.
  • Withdrawal notice for our regular Weekly classes
    If a student must withdraw from taking classes, written notice (email or text) must be given to the us prior to the next auto-draft date. Your auto-draft date is the day in which you signed up for classes first. If you do not know, please contact us at (346)800-7347 or admin@learntobot.com We will cancel the upcoming bills once a notification is received. Please note that there is no contract and you pay month-to-month. There is no penalty for withdrawing from lessons. However, no refunds or credits will be given for classes which have already been paid.
  • No show policy for Summer Camps
    If advance notice of at least seven business days is not provided and a participant fails to attend a camp, the opportunity for a makeup class will not be available.
