Service Description
Applied Generative AI & Robotics with Python (Ages 11+) Don't just chat with AI—engineer it. This is our most advanced course, designed for students ready to step behind the curtain of tools like ChatGPT and Tesla Autopilot. We move beyond simple "rules" to teach Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Generative AI. Ages 11+ are the "Innovation Years." Students are ready to understand abstract concepts like Neural Networks and API integration, using the same tools as Silicon Valley engineers. Course Overview This is an Industry-Standard AI Development course. We use Python to connect code to the "Brains" (LLMs) and "Eyes" (Cameras) of modern technology. Generative AI & APIs: Students learn to use APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to connect their code to powerful Large Language Models, creating custom chatbots and assistants. Computer Vision: We replace the mouse and keyboard with Dynamic Live Video. Students write code that "sees" the world, tracking hands, faces, and objects in real-time. Hardware Integration: The code doesn't stay on the screen. We bridge the gap to the physical world, using AI decisions to drive Robot Cars and actuate motors. 🛠️ The Gear: Theirs to Keep We are the ONLY camp that provides every student with a professional-grade AI Robotics Kit ($100+ value) to use during camp and take home forever. No Sharing: Your teen manages their own development station. AI-Ready Microcontroller: Includes a WiFi-enabled chip (like Raspberry Pi Pico W or ESP32) capable of talking to the internet and APIs. Camera Module: A webcam or camera sensor for computer vision projects. Robotic Chassis: A motorized car kit to build the self-driving projects. 🚀 The Projects: Vision, Language, & Action We treat AI as a toolset: Text (Chatbots), Vision (Cameras), and Action (Robots). Please note: These are just sample projects. The actual curriculum will vary and include a greater number of projects tailored to the students' pace. Phase 1: Generative AI (The "Brain") The Custom Chatbot: Learn to interact with LLMs (Large Language Models) via API. Students code a personality-driven bot (e.g., a "Sarcastic Robot" or "History Tutor") that remembers conversation context. AI Storyteller: Build a text-based adventure game where the AI generates the story, enemies, and outcomes dynamically based on the player's choices—no two games are ever the same. Phase 2: Computer Vision (The "Eyes") Gesture-Controlled Flappy Bird: Reinvent the classic game using Pose Estimation. The student's physical hand becomes the controller—flap your hand in the air to fly the bird on screen. Face-Tracking Security System: Program the camera to detect faces. If an unrecognized face appears in the video feed, the system triggers a digital alarm and logs the timestamp. Phase 3: Physical Robotics (The "Body") The "Jedi" Robot Car: The ultimate integration project. Students write a Computer Vision script to track their hand coordinates. Move your hand forward, and the Physical Robot Car drives forward. Tilt your hand left, and it steers left. Sign Language Interpreter: Train a model to recognize specific hand signs (like "Peace" or "Stop") and have the robot perform different stunts based on the sign it sees. 🎓 Learning Outcomes (Hard Skills) By the end of the week, your child will possess the skills of a junior AI developer: API Literacy: Understanding how to use API Keys and JSON data to talk to powerful cloud servers (like OpenAI or Google Gemini). Computer Vision Logic: Understanding how computers break video down into frames, pixels, and landmarks (XYZ coordinates of a hand). Prompt Engineering: Learning how to structure inputs to LLMs to get precise, predictable code or text outputs. Latency Management: Handling the "lag" between a camera seeing a gesture and a robot moving—a critical skill in robotics. Ethics in AI: Understanding that AI models are trained on data, and that data can have biases or errors. Limited Seats Available. Secure your child's place in the future of innovation.
