What to expect in a Camp Session?
When your child arrives for their LearnToBot camp session, they’re stepping into a fun, hands-on world of robotics, coding, and creativity designed to spark their imagination and build real skills. Here's what a typical day looks like:
1. Check-in & Welcome
Upon arrival, you and your child will be greeted by one of our friendly instructors. They’ll get your child checked in and settled quickly and smoothly.
2. First Project of the Day
We kick off with a project that introduces the basics—like making an LED blink or building a simple game. This helps kids warm up to the environment and tools, even if they’re complete beginners.
3. Personalized Curriculum Begins
After the initial project, each child is given a customized curriculum based on their interests—whether that’s building hardware (like remote-controlled cars or mini-pianos) or writing code (in Scratch or Python). We match your child with a track that keeps them engaged and challenged.
4. 1-on-1 Instructor Support
Your child will be assigned a dedicated instructor with a maximum student-to-instructor ratio of 5:1 (often lower). That means real hands-on guidance and support throughout the day—whether they’re debugging code or wiring up a circuit.
5. Their Own Kit to Build & Learn
Each child receives a personalized robotics kit for the session, which they use for their projects. These include real tools and components—motors, sensors, joysticks, LEDs, Arduinos, Raspberry Pi Picos, and more. In many cases, kids get to take their kits home and continue learning.
6. Flexible Break Time
Kids are welcome to enjoy snacks, drinks, or lunch brought from home at any time during the session. We build in flexible breaks so your child stays comfortable and energized.
