The camp where kids build real robots — and take them home.
Summer, Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring camps across Greater Houston. Real engineering skills, real hardware — your child keeps the kit.
What robotics kits and programming languages do kids use?
Students at LearnToBot Summer Camps work directly with LEGO SPIKE Prime, VEX IQ robotics, Arduinos, Raspberry Pis, sensors, motors, and real circuitry — coding in Scratch and Python rather than playing with locked toy kits:
- LEGO SPIKE Prime & VEX IQ competitive robotics platforms
- Scratch visual block logic and real typed Python syntax
- Arduino microcontrollers, breadboard circuitry, and ultrasonic sensors
This isn’t a "camp activity." It’s early engineering exposure.

Real projects, real kids.
Live footage of actual student builds from class — real electronics, microcontrollers, and working code.
RC Explorer Bot
Motorized dual-tread rover with wireless remote control.
Car Racing Game
Scratch logic with keyboard steering and collision detection.
Smart Tollway Gate
Automated servo boom gate with ultrasonic vehicle detection.
Heavy Lift Crane
Gear reduction winch and structural pulley system.
Custom Arcade Controller
Hand-wired pushbuttons and potentiometer paddles.
What are the hours and daily schedule for camp?
LearnToBot Summer Camps run Monday through Friday with flexible options: Half-Day Morning (9:30 AM–12:30 PM), Half-Day Afternoon (1:30 PM–4:30 PM), Full-Day (9:30 AM–4:30 PM), and Extended Care (8:30 AM–5:30 PM). On Day 1, an engineer assesses your child to find their exact baseline. With a strict 8:1 student-to-coach ratio, campers move fast from wiring to coding and take home the robot they built.
Half-Day Morning: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM (drop-off from 9:15 AM)
Half-Day Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM (drop-off from 1:15 PM)
Full-Day Camp: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (bring nut-free lunch & water)
Extended Care: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM ($10/day early drop & late pick)
Skill Placement & Foundations
An engineer assesses your child's experience and places them on a custom track so they are challenged, but never lost. They start with microcontrollers (Arduinos, LEGO SPIKE, VEX IQ) and breadboard circuits catered to their skill level.
Sensors, Code & Complex Systems
We start with single sensors and scale up to multi-sensor circuits and autonomous logic in Scratch or Python. Campers write code to control actuators, ultrasonic detectors, and motors.
The Final Robot Build Starts
After completing foundational mini-projects, campers assemble and program their main capstone robot build.
Competition, Demo & Keep The Robot
Wire it. Code it. Debug it. Campers showcase their autonomous creations in friendly challenges and take their machine home to keep.
What do kids build during LearnToBot summer camp? Real robots they take home.
Yes, every camper at LearnToBot builds, wires, and programs a custom robotic machine that they keep and take home on Friday to continue coding and modifying all summer.
Not a foam loaner. Not a "demonstration kit" that goes back in the bin Friday. The microcontrollers, the sensors, the motors, the chassis — your kid wired it, debugged it, named it, and now it's theirs to keep, modify, and rebuild on the kitchen table all summer.

How is LearnToBot different from other STEM and robotics camps?
Unlike typical camps that dismantle plastic toys at pickup, LearnToBot combines real engineering hardware, a strict 8:1 student-to-coach ratio, and authentic coding so every child gains genuine engineering confidence.

What are LearnToBot's cancellation, refund, and transfer policies?
We offer 100% risk-free flexibility: full refunds are available with advance notice, and families can transfer camp weeks or locations at any time with zero transfer fees.
Refund Policies by Season
Summer camps offer a 100% refund with a May 1 deadline. This deadline applies to summer camps only. Non-summer camps do not offer an advance 100% cancellation refund. They include our Day 1 Guarantee: attend the first day, and if your child does not enjoy it, we will provide a 100% refund when the equipment is returned. Full policy
Free Transfers & Rescheduling
Camp rescheduling is free when arranged at least 14 days before the camp starts, subject to available places. Full policy
8:1 Student-to-Coach Ratio
Our camps sell out fast because we cap class sizes small with an 8:1 ratio. Booking early guarantees your child gets dedicated attention from actual engineers.
