What is LearnToBot?+
LearnToBot is a unique robotics and coding class for kids ages 7–14 in Houston, TX. We use Arduino-based microcontrollers and sensors to build projects that kids assemble themselves and write code for. Our goal is to help every child become a creator. Kids build practical projects while developing confidence, logic, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.
Who is the founder of LearnToBot?+
LearnToBot was founded by Neil Dey. Neil has BS and MS degrees in Computer Engineering and spent 15 years designing servers and supercomputers at Dell, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, and Intel. He is also an inventor with eight U.S. and international patents in computer design.
What ages are your robotics and coding classes for?+
Our classes are designed for kids ages 7–14.
What type of projects do the kids do?+

Can the kids take all the robotic kits home?+
Yes. Kids take home all equipment assigned to them. Each week they get new sensors and hardware to learn how to program and use. Equipment is included in class fees.
What coding languages do you teach?+
We teach Scratch, C, and Python.
Do kids need previous coding or robotics experience?+
No. Classes are designed for beginners; no prior experience is required.
What is the class size?+
Class size is limited to 8–10 students so each child receives individual attention. The instructor-to-student ratio is limited to 1:5.
What is the duration of your classes?+
Each child attends one one-hour class every week, for four classes per month.
What is the schedule for your classes?+
Classes currently run on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. See the latest class schedule.
What is the class make-up policy?+
Make-up classes are available on any day of the week with at least 72 hours' notice. This notice lets us prepare the correct equipment for the next project. For example, if a child normally attends Wednesday and misses one week, they can attend Monday and Wednesday the following week if you notify us by Friday.
What is the cost of your classes?+
Classes cost $175 per month for four one-hour classes. Register online.

What is your cancellation policy?+
We offer a full refund when cancellation is made more than three days before your auto-draft billing date. Your billing date is the date you signed up for classes.
